Refreshing Strawberry, Carrot & Mint Smoothie

Spring is always for me a period of transition from heavy and warm meals to eating salads non-stop in the summer time. I love to kick off this season with easy and delicious smoothies. That's why I decided to share with you some of my favorite smoothie recipes.

This one is based of strawberries, carrots and mint leaves.

Here is what you will need for this recipe


  • 1 cup (250g) strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 carrot

  • A few leaves of fresh mint

  • 2 cups of water

  • Optional 1 scoop of collagen & 1 scoop of protein powder


Directions:


Simply add everything into a blender. I did not know that the blender can influence so much of how your smoothie is going to turn out. Since my older blender decided to end its life, I have bought a new one. I went for Philips Pro Blend 6.
