Introduction to Meditation
1 hour- Private Individual or Private Group Session.
Complete instruction covering the basics of meditation, key ingredients and the essentials to a successful meditation, guided meditation, and Q&A.
3 hour Seminar- Simple, Easy, Every Day (SEED)Meditation® Method. This is Sarah McLean's trademarked method of meditation. Instruction covers all ingredients and elements of meditation and mindfulness (including common misconceptions, brain science, guided meditation, SEED booklet and Sarah McLean's Meditation CD.) A more detailed description is below.

Sessions are held at The Women's Wellness Center at Fayette Memorial Hospital,
located in the Medical Arts Building 2, Suite 110;

Mindfulness For Kids and Parents/Guardians
30-45 min. Instruction includes multiple mindfulness techniques appropriate for children ages 5 to 12, guided meditation and visualizations. Presented in a fun, lighthearted manner. Parents' attendance required. Registration Required.
$25/session: includes parent + one child, $5 for each additional child
Mindful Eating Seminar
1.5 hour- In this seminar we will cover the basics of mindfulness and learn how we may apply the principles to eating and healthy living. You will receive a hand out with helpful tips and techniques and we will experiment with mindfully eating a piece of dried or fresh fruit. There will also be a short guided meditation during the seminar.
1.5 hour- These workshops are designed to inspire living life to its fullest. Each workshop will include a handout, guided meditation, and discussion. Offered Themes: LOVE WORKS-Recognize how love truly permeates everything in life. BLISS 365- Use mindfulness techniques to make bliss a conscious choice. INNER PEACE-Use meditation to create a daily experience of balance, serenity, and peace.

Is it time to get serious about learning to meditate? We've made it easy for you. In a 3 hour class you'll receive all the information you need to get going. The Simple, Easy, Every Day Meditation Method is taught by Shannon, who received her certification with the McLean Meditation Institute in November of 2014. This program is ideal for any level - whether you are a beginning meditator, or want to get back on track with meditation.
It's true that meditation can help you to find inner peace, creativity, inspiration, harmonious relationships, fulfillment, better health, more self-awareness, and so much more. Each of us has our own reason for wanting to learn to meditate, and whether you want to create mental, physical, or emotional balance, or be more spiritually connected, you'll find this meditation will help you. The mainstay of the program is breath awareness and silent sound meditation, both which direct your attention inward and help you to reconnect with your center point of peace and enhance your well being.
